During the open forum section of the event, attendees will be encouraged to share
- how technology has improved their lives or the lives of family members
- what types of changes might be beneficial in technology services
- any issues with access
Speakers will be helping DODD and DD Council make informed decisions about the direction of technology services.
DODD Director John Martin will discuss the department’s efforts to expand technology across the state. Participants will hearupdates on the latest in assistive technology and remote support services, also known as remote monitoring.
The town hall will be streamed on Facebook Live, where viewers can also participate remotely by commenting about their experiences with technology.
Prepared testimony is NOT required to speak at the event.
