HLC Preschool Attendance
The regular attendance of each child is very important to his or her educational and developmental growth. However, we understand that sometimes a student may miss school because of illness, vacation or other family situation.
If your child will be absent from school, we do ask that you contact the office (not the teacher) to let us know. If the teacher is out sick, we do not have the ability to check her voicemail or email while she is out. When you call, please give us the reason for the absence so that we can mark the student as excused in our attendance system.
Attendance is taken within the first 20-30 minutes of each session. If you do not call the office, the school will call you to find out why your child is out.
