UCBDD Community:

We want to inform you of our efforts to maintain the highest quality of service while navigating the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak.

We have been monitoring both the outbreak and Governor DeWine’s guidance throughout this time. In an effort to reduce the spread of contagions, we are eliminating all non-essential in-person gatherings. We will maintain this for the next three weeks and carefully monitor the situation to determine how long this practice should be held.

In addition, we are suspending person-to-person visits, unless absolutely necessary, and are transitioning to an online or telephone method. This should be a relatively smooth transition with little to no loss to your supports. You’ll access these meetings through your smartphone or mobile device, desktop computer, or even by telephone.

The bottom line is that we are here for you. Our services will continue to be the same quality as before. Our meetings and methods will change but this does not have any effect on the services we provide to the community.

We will continue to keep you informed via email, on our website, and on social media. If you have any specific questions, feel free to contact your Service Consultant, your Early Intervention Service Coordinator, or call (937) 645-6733.

Sincerely,

Kara L. Brown
Superintendent
