    The Community Connections Team exists to provide disability education and awareness, promote inclusion, and to advocate for accessibility and removal of barriers for Union County citizens with disabilities. We achieve this through partnerships with local businesses, organizations and school districts across the county. Our goal is to make Union County accessible and inclusive for all.   • Adaptive Equipment Lending Library
    The Union County Adaptive Equipment Lending Library is a designated space to donate or borrow gently used items such as Medical Equipment and Supplies, Assistive Technology, Adaptive Toys and Sensory Items. It is open to all Union County Residents. For more information and to view our inventory or request an item, click the link above!

Check out our new Universal Changing Trailer!

As part of the Equipment Lending Library, UCBDD has a Universal Changing Trailer with restroom that is available for use, free of charge, for Union County Community Events!

The trailer is accessible via an electric lift for users with wheelchairs or strollers.  Once inside, there is a curtain for privacy while caregivers have adequate space and amenities to provide personal care.
