  Hiring a Medicaid Services Manager

   

  We’re seeking a Medicaid Manager who is both technically skilled and relationship-oriented, someone who can navigate the complexities of Ohio Medicaid systems while collaborating effectively with staff, leadership, and board members. This person will bring strong fiscal and analytical abilities, a commitment to teamwork, and a deep understanding of how Medicaid funding supports the mission of serving people with developmental disabilities.

   

  The Ideal Candidate Will Bring:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Ohio Medicaid rules, policies, systems, waiver programs, and eligibility requirements as they relate to county boards of developmental disabilities
  • Experience with DD waiver services, including service authorization, funding mechanisms, and compliance oversight
  • Understanding of county board funding streams, budgets, cost drivers, and fiscal forecasting to support data-informed decisions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile, interpret, and present data to leadership and board members, using insights to drive system improvements and strategic decision-making
  • Proven leadership abilities, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a positive team culture aligned with the agency’s mission, vision, and goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism, clarity, and respect in interactions with staff, leadership, and board members

   

   

  This position is hybrid with the expectation that the employee will attend onsite meetings, etc., as required.

   

  This position reports to the Support Services Director

   

  The Medicaid Services Manager supervises the UCBDD Support Specialist (currently 3)
